THE WAIT IS OVER!

It's finally here! After 8 months of development hell, Violence Against Existence is finally finished. I am really sorry to those who were expecting it all this time. The song was actually finished that entire time, but it was the cover art that took the longest to work on, but only because I didn't feel any will to just sit down and make it. Funnily enough, it only took me around 3 hours in one day to finish both the art and the video.....

Anyways, here's some lore I developed for the boss of this stage, "HIVEMIND" (You may call him Franklin).

7-E “TRUE, ETERNAL VIOLENCE”
9-ION “HIVEMIND”
TYPE: SUPREME FACTORY

Shortly after the first Earthmovers were created, the ninth addition to the factories that mass-produced arms for the Final War, known as the ION series. 9-ION “HIVEMIND” did not produce any of the previous war machines, but what was special about this addition to the ION series was its production of the Earthmovers. It was located in the Atlantic Ocean, and is responsible for polluting the Earth’s oceans with blood during the Final War. Hell Itself recreated it within Hell, it now resides within the Violence layer, in Phlegethon. Due to HIVEMIND being in the middle of the ocean, a platform in the seafloor transports the Earthmovers to land.


9-ION possesses advanced artificial intelligence that exceeds human consciousness. It can also control the Earthmovers that it created, hence the name “HIVEMIND”. The amount of energy required to power such a factory demands the use of any power source available, including wind, which was abundant due to the leveled terrain. Blood of the fallen wasn’t enough for this behemoth, so thousands of soldiers lay within, the factory extracting their blood for power, much like the Guttermen. After the blood is used by HIVEMIND, it disposes of it into Phlegethon.
