The Bavaria Forest | Winter Backpacking & Wild Camping Alone

Welcome to my latest cinematic film about winter backpacking and wild camping in the stunning
Bavaria Forest in Germany. Follow along on this silent journey as I trek 40km from Neuschönau
through the snow-covered terrain, taking in the crisp and beautiful winter scenery along the way.
This adventure takes me through the majestic mountains, past the Baumwipfelpfad Bavarian
Forest and Tier-Freigelände Nationalparkzentrum Lusen Visitors center. The ultimate goal is to
reach the summit of the park, the mountain peak at Lusen.

Despite the fact that it was the end of March, the snowfall was abundant, particularly on the
Czech border, making for challenging and exciting type 2 fun. But the weather was perfect,
allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning surroundings.
This film captures the essence of solitude and serenity that can be found in the Bavarian Forest
during the winter season. It showcases the beauty of nature in its purest form and highlights the
resilience and determination that is required for winter backpacking and wild camping.
