Stellantis CEO Talks Hybrids, HEMIs, and Fuel Regulations

Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa is making one thing very clear: the U.S. strategy is shifting gears — and hybrids are officially in the fast lane. 🚦

Fresh off a White House appearance alongside former President Trump, Filosa spent today speaking at the Goldman Sachs 17th Annual Industrials & Autos Week — outlining a new path forward for Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, Chrysler, and the rest of the Stellantis family.

Instead of forcing EV adoption, Filosa says the company is doubling down on what American customers actually want right now. And that means more efficient combustion engines and traditional hybrid offerings leading the charge.

While standing with Trump, Filosa emphasized the major shift in U.S. policy:

“It’s a great day for us at Stellantis today, because it’s a day where we see CAFE regulation reconciled with real customers’ demand.”
