Regional train Kostrzyn, Poland - Berlin, Germany an underrated railway connection.

The train connection between Kostrzyn nad Odrą in Poland and Berlin in Germany is a regional cross-border service, operated by NEB (Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn) on the route RB26. It connects the two cities efficiently. The route is popular for commuters and tourists, offering scenic views of the Oder River region and travel times of about 1:20 hours. It’s a convenient link between Poland and Germany with affordable ticket options.
In this video we'll first feauture the Railway station of Kostrzyn, this is a key transport hub in western Poland near the German border. Of course we show the train and some views from the train along this route and at the end Berlin Ostkreuz station will be featured.
Berlin Ostkreuz is one of the busiest railway stations in Berlin, located in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district. Known as the "East Cross," it serves as a major interchange for S-Bahn lines, connecting eastern and central Berlin. Originally opened in 1882, the station underwent extensive modernization, completed in 2018, blending historic structures with modern facilities. It features multiple platforms and provides easy transfers between regional and local trains, making it a vital hub for commuters and travelers exploring Berlin.
