Called a coaches coach, Horst Wein was a german international hockey player who later on, as a coach led Spain to their first ever European title and an Olympic silver medal. Encouraged by FC Barcelona to bring his game intelligence approach to soccer, he worked as author, speaker and consultant for many top European and International clubs.

In this video Horst Wein practices quick attacking with a 3 v 1 plus 2, which is always an element in 7vs7 games.

Objectives and Coaching Points:

Challenge defenders and coax them to come out of the center
Play the pass at the right moment
Play the ground-pass into a teammate's stride
Take the ball in stride
Wing players move to the inside at the right time
As a defender, stall the other team's attack
