Comparison between CyanogenMod 12 white and black boot animations (updating to 2015-01-31 nightly)

I've had my HTC One (M7 version from 2013) since August 2013, and I've always preferred the HTC Sense software on it, despite trying Cyanogen Mod and similar custom ROMs (custom versions of Android) on it. Recently I wanted to try CM again because I was curious to test out the stock version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. It's very beautiful, and for a nightly build I update almost every day, it's stable too! The white boot animation didn't bug me at all, but since it seemed to be such a big deal for a lot of CM users (not sure how many of them are my subscribers, but it doesn't matter), especially the ones who have phones with AMOLED screens (where black pixels are completely turned off so they save battery life), I decided to make a video about the update which switched it to a black boot animation, among bringing other bug fixes.

Finally featuring my HTC in one of my videos, after having it for about a year and a half. I'll try to feature it again in (one of) my next videos, maybe with the official Android with HTC Sense software too, since that's what's been on this phone for most of its time!
