Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to your RV batteries. When I'm boondocking for more than a single day, I'm never really sure if my batteries need charging. I do have solar, but on rainy days it doesn't produce enough power to keep the batteries charged. Solution is to add this Victron Battery Monitor which accurately keeps track of the batteries State of Charge (SOC). With this, you always know how they are doing and when you need to fire up the Genny. It also will let you know when they are fully charged rather than guessing. Cost is around $225
