This recording is from the Bon-Accord Silver Band's concert performance at Midstocket Parish Church from February 2022, conducted by Richard Kidd. It was part of the ‘Music from Stage and Screen’ concert.
The Lion king:
"The score was composed by Hans Zimmer, who was hired based on his work in two films in African settings, The Power of One (1992) and A World Apart (1988), and supplemented the score with traditional African music and choir elements arranged by Lebo M. Zimmer's partners Mark Mancina and Jay Rifkin helped with arrangements and song production.”
The venue is the Midstocket Parish Church
