AC Transit was founded on October 1st, 1960.
In October of 2025, to celebrate the 65th anniversary of this Transit system, AC Transit wrapped one of their buses with their original livery from the 60s, which was unit #1629, and this time capsule will run throughout October & November. But for some reason tho, as of late December 2025, is still wrapped, and I predict will continue to run in January
Yes, I know I recorded this video nearly 3 months late after the anniversary & bus was wrapped, tho I was pretty busy and didn't have much time, and I didn't really feel like going into the East Bay either.

Also, on August 10, 2025, due to the AC Transit realign service changes, many routes in the system will see huge service changes, which includes some having either routing changes, some being discontinued, replaced, new routes being created, or frequency/schedule changes, with the goal of bringing more reliable service, new destinations, as well as simplifying routes.
Line 9 is a new created in this service change, operating along E 14th St & Mission Blvd, starting at San Leandro BART and ending at Union City BART, serving all Bart Stations in between (Bay Fair, Hayward, South Hayward).
Line 9 is the replacement for Line 10 along E 14th St & Mission Blvd, and replacement for Line 99, providing replacement service between Hayward BART to Union City BART, and both lines 10 and 99 were discontinued.
