國立中正大學工學院成立於1991年，自成立以為一直積極追求學術卓越，並致力於尖端技術之開發與產學合作。
College of Engineering at National Chung Cheng Univesity was established in 1991. To match the pace of the knowledge-based economical developments and the global high-tech advances, the College is expanding the facility and actively searching for international experts in the fields to promote the research. This will benefit the domestic industries in research quality.

本院設有5個學系及1個英文碩博士學程(前瞻製造系統學程)
There are 5 departments and one English Master & Ph.D. program in Advanced Manufacturing Systems.
