Doris Salcedo: The Materiality of Mourning—Opening Celebration Lecture

To celebrate the opening of the special exhibition "Doris Salcedo: The Materiality of Mourning," on view November 4, 2016 through April 9, 2017, the Harvard Art Museums present a discussion between Doris Salcedo and Elaine Scarry, the Walter M. Cabot Professor of Aesthetics and General Theory of Value at Harvard. The conversation is moderated by Mary Schneider Enriquez, the exhibition’s curator and the museums’ Houghton Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art.
