Looking back at 2025, it was a landmark year for wildlife in Punjab.
Stronger wildlife laws were introduced, and a dedicated Wildlife Rangers force was established, with 25% women serving on the frontlines.
Over 3,500 rare birds and 700 animals were rescued across the province.
Punjab achieved first-ever AI thermal detection of endangered species and launched the Community-Based Conservancies (CBC) framework.
