In a community where gender norms are deeply entrenched, Meena* defied stereotypes and emerged as a confident and articulate young woman. She enrolled in the Children's Parliament and Street Theatre program, a platform provided by SOS Children’s Village Greenfields, India. Through this initiative, she and her peers found their voices, addressing critical issues facing their neighborhood.
