The T.S.P.S. Traffic Operator Position System. Was used by the Bell System from 1970 up until just after the Bell system breakup in 1984. The computer terminal you see on the swichboard was not in use during the 1970s and 1980s. It was used after the divestiture in 1984 when long distance companies used their own system to handle calls. AT&T used the TSPS system up until around the mid to late 1980s before they swiched to the OSPS Operator Position System. Which was a computer terminal based system. The terminals they used were similar to the terminals on the TSPS console you see in the video. This video was recorded at the Telephone museum in Tacoma, WA. I believe this is the only Telephone museum in the United States that has an electronic swichboard on display.
