This video is a full tour with historic explanation of Ramakrishna Kutir, Almora founded in 1916 by Swamis Shivananda and Turiyananda (monastic disciples of Sri Ramakrishna), this centre serves mainly as a retreat for our monks.
Activities:
A library with 5166 books and 17 periodicals and newspapers.
Regular worship, religious classes and fortnightly Ramanam Sankirtan.
Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
Welfare work: Providing educational aids to students, and medical help, pecuniary help, distribution of clothes and blankets to the poor and needy.
