Ingredients:
1kg chicken (bone-in preferred)
3 cups basmati rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
3 large onions (thinly sliced & fried)
1 tomato (chopped)
1/2 cup curd (yoghurt)
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2-3 green chillies (slit)
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp biryani masala powder
Fresh coriander & mint leaves
Yellow food colour
Ghee or oil (as needed)
Salt to taste
🔥 Cooking Method:
Marinate the chicken with spices, curd. Layer the half-cooked rice and chicken together, add saffron milk, and seal the pot for dum cooking. Cook on a low flame for that authentic restaurant-style flavour!
