The Higher Education Ministry has confirmed that it's planning an urgent meeting with the Trinity International Bible University, that has been awarding honorary doctorates to South African celebrities, without accreditation. The matter has sparked a lot of controversy, after the Higher Education department slammed the institution yet again, for not being accredited and not authorised to issue any honorary doctorates or other qualifications. This after Trinity conferred several celebrities with honorary degrees in recent years.
