【Profile】
Technische Universität Braunschweig is one of the strongest research universities in the state of Lower Saxony and is located in the centre of Europe’s most active R&D region. With around 16,000 students and 3,800 employees, we offer a wide range of study programs, innovative and interdisciplinary teaching, research- and transfer opportunities, and excellent facilities. With a strong focus on engineering, TU Braunschweig addresses global challenges within the framework of four interdisciplinary core research areas: Mobility, Metrology, Engineering for Health & Future City. We are looking for graduates and postgraduates from all academic areas, in particular from the STEM field.

【Opportunities for early career researchers from Japan】
International researchers are very welcome at Technische Universität Braunschweig! In addition to an excellent research infrastructure, we offer fully-funded positions, for example at PhD or postdoc level, as well as funding advice for acquiring your own third-party funding. Furthermore, the International House bundles all internationalization measures of the university and includes, for example, the Language Centre (German language skills are not necessary for research, but can be acquired additionally). The Mobile Researchers Services support international researchers in all administrative steps of a stay in Germany and organizes many social events and networking opportunities on site.
