Here's my routine on how I deep condition my natural hair and I'll be taking you step by step through the methods I apply to condition my hair. I always like to use heat for deep conditioning, simply because it's more effective in helping the cuticle layers of the hair to swell, allowing the conditioning agents to penetrate the hair shaft. I only use heat for 20 mins, before rinsing out the conditioner.
