After an early career in real time computer control systems, Julius (Mark) Marcus played pivotal role in the rise of minicomputers from science and engineering labs to adoption in communications infrastructure and small business applications. At Digital Equipment, he guided the marketing of the PDP-11 family from it's earliest stages and facilitated the adoption of UNIX onto those platforms. After leaving DEC his focus was in the graphics industry as CEO of Genographics and finally as a senior executive at Xerox responsible for structuring world wide partnerships.
