In this video I would like to talk about a concept of Eurasianism, which emerged 4th the beginning of the 20th century and revived after collapse of the Soviet Union. It describes Russia as a unique country, which European polity but encompasses Asian culture. Its originators called to free from fixation on Europe and to build the country on the legacy of Chinggis Khan. Interestingly, this concept made its way to Russian policymaking and military in the 21st century, explaining Russian domestic and foreign policies.
