This series of videos will be explaining some of the basic important topics in go. This first video covers the 5 most common opening moves and the common approaches to these moves.
Go is an ancient game that originated in China 2500-4000 years ago. It is the oldest game still played today, and for good reason. Go is perhaps the greatest game ever invented. Despite having only a few basic rules, the number of possible games vastly exceeds the number of atoms in the universe.
As an ancient proverb says: The game takes a few moments to learn, but a lifetime to master.
