Beginner Friendly, freemotion edge to edge quilting in REAL TIME

Remember the l’s and e’s of handwriting classes? That’s basically what we’re quilting today! Truly, most freemotion quilting is made up of a pretty limited set up shapes, used in a bajillion different ways😄 Master these shapes....and you've got some great quilting skill.

The quilt under the needle is very floral and has quite busy prints. Which, by the way, If you’re a beginner, makes an excellent canvas for practicing a new-to-you-design. My "Chandelier" freemotion design is row-based and while easy, is a great skill builder.
