Super BUTTER landing at the end!
I was a crew chief on the A-10 back in the day. Love that plane! The A-10 was retired this month.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, nicknamed the "Warthog," is (was) a U.S. Air Force single-seat, twin-engine attack aircraft designed for close air support. Built around a powerful 30mm GAU-8 Avenger rotary cannon, it excels at destroying ground targets, including tanks. Known for its durability, large cannon, and ability to operate at low altitudes, the A-10 has a distinctive rugged design with a titanium-armored cockpit. It first flew in 1972.
