WFP warns of starvation in Sudan and Gaza as aid access blocked, funding drops by 40%

In an Al Jazeera interview, WFP Deputy Director Carl Skau warned that Sudan is now the world’s worst hunger crisis, with 1.7 million facing famine as warring parties block aid. He revealed Gaza’s WFP food stocks will run out by Monday due to Israel’s siege, leaving 2 million without lifelines despite trucks waiting at borders.
