Ingredients
2 pounds chuck roast cut into 1 inch pieces or you can use stew meat
4-5 Yukon gold potatoes cut into chunks or use what you have on hand
2 cups carrots sliced
2 stalks of celery chopped
1 cup frozen sweet peas
1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
3-4 gloves minced garlic
2 1/2 tablespoons flour I used self raising
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 sprig of rosemary
Bay leaf
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
Season to taste
Directions
Place diced chuck roast into slow cooker season to taste next add in potatoes, carrots, onion, celery, bay leaf sprig of rosemary and garlic into the slow cooker. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, tomato paste, flour, Worcestershire sauce, and onion soup mix until smooth. Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables. Cover Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours until the beef is tender. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the frozen sweet peas. Remove the bay leaf, adjust seasoning to taste, and serve hot with some crusty bread or cornbread or rice. Thank you 😘
