Hari ini kita beli donuts kaki lima, namanya Millet donut di daerah Bitan, xindian. Walaupun donut ini dijual dipinggir jalan tapi pembelinya ramai sekali dan mesti ngantri, donuts ini tidak seperti donuts2 pada umumnya yg dibuat dari bahan tepung terigu atau kentang, yang akan memberikan tekstur lembut dan halus pada donuts. sepertinya millet donut ini menggunakan tepung dari bahan sorghum, sehingga menghasilakan tekstur donuts yang sangat unik, teksturnya sangat lembut tapi juga elastis dan kenyal.
pengalaman pertama buat saya merasakan tekstur donuts seperti ini, rasa green tea dari donuts yg saya makan sangat enak, ada rasa pahit,manis dari campurn gula halus dan aroma green tea yang sangat harum.
