This is a song that I have slowly been working on for about six months, on and off. My dad is the one who inspired it, as he came up to me one night and asked if he could hum a melody and I could make a song with it, and I said yes, wrote down the melody with the instruments he said, and then built it from there. The melody he hummed is the peaceful beginning and end parts, as well as the very start of the fast section. This song is my favorite classical piece I have written so far, and I really like it. I love the harmonies at the end, and the end of the fast section is really cool in my opinion. I was also motivated by one of my classmates in orchestra to finish it, so if you see this, thanks!
