I'm going to show you how to build a simple USB adapter for the Logitech Driving Force Shifter. This only takes about 15 minutes to put together, and requires absolutely no soldering.
The "Driving Force" shifter is what Logitech calls their shifter that is compatible with the G923, G920, and G29 wheels.

If you want something more permanent, I've designed some open source circuit board "shields" that attach to an Arduino Pro Micro. These come with a 3D-printable case and custom boards files so that the adapter shows up as a "Sim Racing Shifter" over USB. For more info, watch the overview video: • Sim Racing Shields for Arduino

This is an updated version of my original shifter USB adapter tutorial video from 2022.
Original Video: • (OLD VERSION) DIY Logitech Shifter USB Ada...
❓ Changes:
Power now uses pin 9 instead of pin 7, for better compatibility across shifter types
Power jumper now uses pin 7 (same reason)
Added different shifter types disclaimer to the intro
Updated all IDE footage to Arduino IDE v2
Rerecorded voiceover
If you made an adapter using the original video, it's still good! While I was making the G25/G27 videos I just thought it would be worthwhile to refresh this one.
