Turning A 3D Model Into 2D Drawings (using Tekla Structures)

Making the 2D drawings from the 3D model using Tekla Structures v21.0 software. This has been sped up considerably (I wish I could draw that fast!). This video shows the creation of "General Arrangement" drawings. They are used to show the builders where all of the steel components are located and how they are to be installed.

About this series:
This is pretty much what I do at my job everyday. I absolutely love it! There are many different structural components that need to be 3D modeled and then have 2D fabrication drawings created. I use Tekla Structures to do this.
