When thinking of Pokemon Cards, it's always been about the artists. Thats always been the main focal point. Though just recently, it seems the illustrators are now getting their fair share of fan hype, with popular artists like Shinji Kanda and Akira Egawa growing a larger fan base.

The shift to collect Illustrations designed by certain illustrators is hitting the mainstream, and I feel this is only getting started.
