Bath fan performing poorly? Does the motor hum but doesn’t spin freely? Lots of rattling?
Here’s an easy way to service the motor on a common bath fan configuration.
Make sure you use SAE-20 oil and ONLY SAE-20! Some oils that comply:
Blue label 3-in-1 (NOT BLACK LABEL)
Zoom Spout
LA-CO Precision Spout Oiler
Inox MX3
Liquid Bearings
Make sure it is detergent free and NEVER EVER USE WD-40!!!
