EWEB's hometown heroes go to the International Lineman Rodeo

Four EWEB line techs embarked on a career achievement adventure: competing and participating in the International Lineman Rodeo in Kansas City, MO.
Torin Brick, Phillip Henneman, and Evan McGill represented EWEB as a three-man journeyman team. Per regulations, each team must bring a volunteer judge. EWEB also sent Justin Fitzgerald, who judged apprentice competitions.
EWEB's three-man team qualified for the international stage after placing 2nd overall at the Pacific Northwest Lineman Rodeo.
At this competition, hundreds of teams from fourteen different countries competed in four events, including two mystery events in which the teams learned about the day before the competition.
For their first time competing at this level, EWEB's team held their own, finishing in the top third of all competitors.
