How to Tie the Apps Worm-Attractor or Imitator?

How to tie the Apps Worm. Originally designed as a bloodworm (Chironomid larva) pattern Peter Applebly's Apps Worm has fast become one of my favorite stillwater fly patterns.

Fellow stillwater fanatic Rhys from Rhys's Fishes convinced me to give this fly a try a few years ago, and I have never looked back. Check out the links below to Rhys's channel and his Apps Worms Tying videos.

You can fish this fly under an indicator, retrieve it slowly using cast and retrieve techniques or strip it fast to trigger a reaction. A superb fly that belongs in every stillwater fly box.

Body: Glo Brite Floss
Legs: Sexi-Floss, Stretch Floss or Spanflex
