U.S. Marines Stinger Missile Live-Fire in Okinawa (2025)

U.S. Marines with 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion (2nd LAAD), attached to the 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, conduct Stinger Launch Simulator Range training at Camp Hansen, Okinawa. The exercise enhances proficiency and readiness in operating the FIM-92 Stinger missile system, ensuring Marines remain capable of defending against aerial threats in the Indo-Pacific region.

This training was conducted in direct support of the Alert Contingency Marine Air-Ground Task Force Mission, refining Marines’ ability to identify, engage, and neutralize enemy aircraft during expeditionary operations.
