ALPINE 20° VS ALPINE 0° SLEEPING BAGS: ARGALI EQUIPMENT

In this video, Brad Brooks breaks down the Argali Alpine System and tells you how to select the right sleeping bag for your own personal needs. For our sleeping bag line we opted to create two similar bags but with a comfort rating of 0 degrees and 20 degrees. Which of these bags is right for you will come down to a number of important factors, but in general we built the 20 degree bag for the September to mid-October time frame and the 0 degree version for later hunts from mid October into November.

Bottom line, buy the bag that best suits the majority of your use and your body mechanics. Our bags are rated for comfort, so most people will be comfortable at the temperature ratings. If you run cold, and you anticipate temperatures below 20, get a 0. If you sleep cold and want one bag for the entire year, a 0 degree is a good option. For archery season and into October, the 20 degree bag will keep most people warm. You can also layer inside of the 20 to stay warm later into the season.
