Everyone is moving to Florida, it seems. In fact, Florida is indeed the Number 1 state in America for Domestic Net Migration. That means Florida is gaining more domestic migrants than any other state, even more than Texas. The reasons for people moving to Florida are plentiful but not always understood! With that in mind, in this video, I will be discussing the Top 5 reasons why people are moving to Florida. One of the main reasons why people from all over the country are moving to Florida is for its cost of living. For a large state like Florida, its cost of living is actually pretty low, and nowhere near that of other large states like New York or California. In addition, it's one of only a handful of states with NO state income tax. This, coupled with its low cost of living, means you get to keep more of your hard-earned money! Moreover, Florida's tropical and subtropical climate allows you to participate in so many different activities throughout the whole year! And finally, the increasing popularity of working from home has encouraged people to leave states with colder climates to come work from the warmth of Florida.
