The creepy and obsessed boy mom to toxic mother in law (or monster in law) pipeline is real and it's honestly traumatizing. In this video I talk about the TikTok "toxic boy mom" trend where moms are absolutely obsessed with their boys/sons, and show extreme preferential treatment when compared to their daughters. I talk about how how boy moms were the pick me women of yesterday, who lived for the male gaze and male validation, and will be the evil mother in law's of tomorrow. I cover the elements of internalized misogyny that become a part of the toxic boy mom's mentality/psychology, where they raise their daughters to almost be disposable. Finally I talk about how it's on mothers to raise both empowered sons, as well as empowered daughters, so that the cycles of internalized misogyny aren't carried on from generation to generation.
