President William Ruto now says retiring public servants must not cling to their jobs upon attaining the retirement age of sixty as stipulated in the law. The president who spoke while launching public service commission values and a principles compliance report in Nairobi said young graduates must be accorded opportunities to serve the nation. At the same time, the head revealed that the public service commission cohorts will increase from 3900 this year to 20,000 next year.
