Electric Start Predator 224 Mega Moto with Ryobi Power

MAX Performance Predator 224cc… In today’s episode of DIY Willy, I want to try and make my Predator 224 work with an electric starter kit from V Power Equipment and a 18v Ryobi battery. Does it work? I don’t know. Let’s put it to the test. I know this video is long but I really wanted to show the install from start to finish. I hope you all will watch till the end. So follow along as we make history with the Mega Moto once again making it just that much better than the rest…

I need to mention that the kit didn’t bolt on right out of the box as I had hoped. I actually used a 212 Non-Hemi Flywheel, plastic fan and short pull start cup to make it work. From my research the Hemi kit should have worked but as you’ll see in the video the flywheel taper was to big causing the flywheel to sit too close to the engine block, stopping the crank from turning.
