The Vashon Ranger R7 was conceived as a Flight Training & Back Country aircraft. The Back Country, unpaved runways capabilities of the Ranger are often overlooked. Well, here you go! 😊 The soft field procedure is set flaps to 20°, lift off at 35 KIAS, hold it in ground effect until 60 KIAS, then climb out at Vx (60 KIAS), until clear of all obstacles, then bring the flaps up to 0°, & continue the climb out at 75 KIAS. Fun times!
