On the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in 2025, commemorative events were held across Australia in Sydney, Western Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide.
Thousands gathered to remember the 1.5 million Armenians who were systematically killed between 1915 and 1923 by the Ottoman Empire.
The National Commemoration in Sydney featured Hugh McDermott MP, NSW Member for Prospect and his powerful words to the Armenian Community.
