Hey, hey, hey, and Welcome back to my Channel!

It had been so gloomy in Atlanta; I was so excited to finally leave the house, but here is a full rundown of the #weekend :)

Friday Night:
My man returned home from his work trip (yay, yay, yay!). It has been an adjustment with him traveling so much; we haven't had this much time away from each other since college, but I won't lie; missing him makes me love him so much more!! I kind of like the forced distance, lol.

Saturday:
We had our first tour of a potential wedding venue. The venue was nice; the Ceremony Space you see is where they will build the main event space (expected to be finished in early 2024). We saw mockups of the reception space, which will be beautiful, BUT the cons definitely outweigh the pros. Confederate flags??? Trump 2024 signs???? Girl, absolutely not. The venue is further out, and the closest hotel is 45 minutes away; having our guests go through all that hassle doesn't make sense. So, on to the next!

We saw The Nun; we love movie dates, LOL! I was expecting to be terrified by The Nun, and although there were some scenes where I had to cover my eyes, it was not as scary as I thought it would be. But it's still a good movie!!

My cousin, Jordon, turned 30, so we celebrated his birthday!! We went to 5Church Midtown; I ordered the seared duck with polenta, an espresso martini, and a lemon drop. The service was subpar, and the food needed some serious work. Wouldn't recommend that location, BUT it was great to celebrate Jordon and him hitting DIRTY THIRTY!

Sunday:
Of course, #sundayreset! Did some cleaning and some laundry. It's not in the vlog, but I finished up some work and homework for my Cornell class. Chilled HARD all day with my man because he's leaving again for work. :(
