10 Soldiers Dead - Army Vehicle Falls into 200-Foot Gorge in Jammu & Kashmir ! |

Yesterday, an army vehicle met with an accident in Thoda district, Jammu & Kashmir.
The vehicle had more than 20 army personnel on board.
How did it happen ?
While traveling on the 9,000-feet high Kanni Top area, the driver lost control.
The vehicle fell into a 200-feet deep gorge and was crushed.
The bad weather was cited as a reason for the accident by the army.
The army and police immediately launched rescue operations.
In the rescue, 4 soldiers were found dead, and 16 were injured.
The injured were sent to Padherva Government Hospital.
Unfortunately, at the hospital, 6 more soldiers died.
This brought the total number of soldiers killed to 10.
Additionally, 10 soldiers were airlifted to Udhampur Army Hospital for advanced treatment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed condolences.
Prime Minister Modi tweeted I am deeply saddened.
We have lost some of our brave army personnel.
I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
This is a very tragic event.
But the readiness of our army personnel to serve at any time strengthens our faith in their courage.
We are living happily because they work on the boards.
Rest in peace soldiers who have died.
