क्या है मलेरिया- मलेरिया बुखार मच्छरों से होने वाला एक तरह का संक्रामक रोग है. जो फीमेल एनोफिलीज मच्छर के काटने से होता है. इस मादा मच्छर में एक खास प्रकार का जीवाणु पाया जाता है जिसे डॉक्टरी भाषा में प्लाज्मोडियम नाम से जाना जाता है. मलेरिया फैलाने वाली इस मादा मच्छर में जीवाणु की 5 जातियां होती हैं.
Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by parasites that are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. It is preventable and curable. In 2021, there were an estimated 247 million cases of malaria worldwide. The estimated number of malaria deaths stood at 619 000 in 2021.
