I'm Asian American. I'm overwhelmed by what is going on right now and I don't know where to start, what to do or what to say. This video barely scratches the surface with the thoughts that are running through my mind right now, but it's a glimpse. Creating this has at least forced me to slow down in processing some of them.
Some of the creators highlighted in this video I do not intend to vilify. I let it speak for themselves and contextually, as I have been followers of their work for a long time, I know that it is not a representation of who they are, but a moment of imperfection. Whether it be lack of oversight or heightened emotions, these clips and the things being said are also contributing to the conversation.
I meant to leave things open for interpretation. If you'd like, please let me know what your thoughts are. Well intended thoughts only please.
