Hi everyone! This is Top 3D Shop, and in this video we’ll tell you about the brand new FDM-printer introduced by Picaso 3D.

Picaso 3D Designer XL PRO is a dual nozzle modification of the acclaimed Designer XL FDM printer. Just like other dual-extrusion printers of the company, Designer XL features JetSwitch - a proprietary technology that allows for quick switching of nozzles.

When compared to a single-nozzle model, the main specifications of Designer XL PRO, have not changed. The minimum layer thickness during printing is 10 microns, the volume of the build chamber is 360x360x310 mm.

The extruder has a maximum working temperature of 410 °C, and the bed can heat up to 150 degrees. Such parameters, together with a proprietary filament feeding system, will allow the owner to use the widest range of consumables - from popular among 3D printing enthusiasts ABS and PLA to engineering grade heat-resistant ULTRAN and PEEK.

As in the single nozzle Designer XL, here the manufacturer also added a number of systems that simplify the operation and maintenance of the printer - automatic bed leveling, feeding and filament runout sensor, first layer control, automatic diagnostics and the ability to notify the owner of the printer's condition.

Just like other Picaso 3D printers, this machine utilizes a profile system that will simplify and accelerate your work. For example, when changing filament all you have to do is choose a required profile among those stored in the printer's memory.

Together with dual extrusion, these features make Picaso 3D Designer XL PRO one of the most powerful FDM printers in the market.
