Flashbacks

Hi, I'm Julie Weber of Liberate Ministries and today's topic is called Flashbacks.
I have decided to add more videos.
These new videos will all relate and add to the healing process that we have online for you.
The teachings give us more understanding about our unhealthy emotions and/or behaviors that we might see in ourselves.
As we discuss these topics, I want to encourage you to process them with God by applying His scriptures to overcome them.

Flashbacks Flashbacks are a past incident recurring vividly in the mind.  
Ways you might recognize it in yourself: - Flashbacks are one of the symptoms of Post-Abortion Stress Syndrome abreviation (PASS).  Abortion is a trauma and the flashback of it can occur many times.  For post-abortive women, the flashback of the abortion can be triggered by something else that happened during the abortion - a certain image, sound, smell, or anything of this sort.  This can be compared to what soldiers have suffered when they come back from the front, known as Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, and similarly triggered by certain sensory experiences.    
What the Bible has to say about flashbacks: He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.  Psalm 103:3 (NLT)  
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.  Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.  Psalm 5:11 (NIV)
