This is not a chess improvement video.
This is what I changed in my thinking during my first FIDE tournament so my games stopped collapsing for free.
I’m not a titled player. I’m not a coach.
I just realised I was ignoring obvious things at the board — especially under time pressure.
In this video, I walk through the thinking loop I tried to follow before every move — and the mistakes I still made even when I won.
This is part of my Pawn to King Gambit journey — documenting obsession, not teaching perfection.
I don’t know if this holds up at higher ratings.
I’m testing it publicly in my next tournament.
