Dawn of Dead (Counter-Strike 1.6) was one of the most iconic "ZOMBIE ESCAPE" server ever created.
The server first opened in 2021 and quickly became one of the most popular and loved communities in the Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. Players spent years enjoying its maps, modes, and unforgettable moments.

But everything changed when CS Duragi hosting suffered a heavy DDoS attack.
The server was moved to a new IP, but the activity never returned to what it once was.
Slowly… the server became empty.

Tonight at 2:00 AM, the owners made the final decision:
Dawn of Dead has been permanently shut down.

This video contains the last ever gameplay recorded on the final map of the server before its shutdown. It was a sad and emotional night for everyone who used to play here.
